90-Minute Single Session

What do you need from your 90 minutes with a counsellor? Perhaps you’re not looking for regular sessions, or you’re not sure what you need. Single Session could be a good alternative option for you.

Often this is a session to pause, process, consider your needs, and figure things out. You can bring anything to this session. It can be a good alternative to traditional counselling to help maintain your wellbeing, although it could lead to a recommendation for longer-term work.

Unlike traditional counselling, where we would work together regularly for a while, and cover several topics and deeper-rooted issues, the 90-minute Single Session is more focused and can feel more goal-oriented.

You may want to consider this option if:

  • You’re feeling conflicted or stuck about something specific. You want to talk things through in a confidential, non-biased, and non-judgemental setting.

  • You’re regularly exposed to distressing events in your work.

  • You’ve had counselling before and want occasional sessions to maintain your wellbeing.

This session can be for anything from space and time to work through a specific topic, process your experiences, or a safe space to externalise your thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

Due to a time-limited session, you’re encouraged to think more specifically about what you want and need from this 90-minute session.

Once we’ve had our initial 15-minute introductory session and agreed to work together, you will be sent all the information you’ll need to get started, so we can be ready to dive in when the session begins.

“It’s incredibly powerful to share our story, to reflect and verbalise what’s inside us, without the fears of judgement or repercussions.”
