Online Counselling

If you’re not sure where to begin, online counselling could be a safe and flexible option for you, as you’ll be more in control of your time and environment.

This is a 60-minute session where we can meet via a video call, or work together via email or audio-only call. It’s also possible to switch between the different mediums. A telephone session is also an option if you’re in the UK. There isn’t the ‘right’ way to engage in therapy, it just has to feel right for you.

If having the camera off enables you to open up more, let’s do that. If you need more flexibility or the safety of not being heard or seen on camera, email may be a suitable option for you. We have the flexibility to work at your pace.

Is online counselling for me?

If these are what you’re looking for, then online counselling is for you.

  • Convenience and flexibility - save time and hassle of travelling to your appointment, more flexible scheduling to suit your needs.

  • Comfort - make the most of your session in the comfort of your own environment, wear what you want, and bring your furry friends if you want to.

  • Freedom - choose the counsellor who is right for you, not who is the closest to you, and have your session from anywhere in the world.

  • Privacy & Safety - be in control of your space and how we meet, no bumping into anyone (or your counsellor!), and have your recovery/transition time after the session in your private space before getting back to the world.

Tips:

If you’re already spending a lot of time working from home, try adapting your space so it feels different for your counselling session. We could work together to create your therapy corner if you want to.

For counselling via email, I will be using Proton Mail. It’s a private and secure, end-to-end encrypted email service. Please create a free account on this platform to ensure our conversations are safe and secure.

“Online counselling should give you the flexibility to, as much as possible, access therapy your way.”
